How Much Does a Concrete Driveway Cost in Florida?

By Ocoee Concrete  |  Central Florida Concrete & Paver Experts

Concrete driveway installation in Central Florida typically costs between $4 and $8 per square foot for a standard residential driveway. A typical two-car driveway (roughly 400–600 sq ft) runs between $1,600 and $4,800 depending on scope, thickness, reinforcement, and finish choice.

Factors That Affect Concrete Driveway Pricing

Size: The larger the driveway, the more material and labor. Most contractors price per square foot, so size is the biggest variable.

Demolition: Removing an existing asphalt or concrete driveway adds cost. Expect $1–$2/sq ft for demo and haul-away.

Thickness: Standard residential driveways are 4 inches thick. Going to 5 or 6 inches (for RVs or heavy vehicles) increases concrete volume and cost.

Reinforcement: Wire mesh is standard on most residential jobs. Rebar reinforcement adds cost but is worth it for larger or commercial driveways.

Finish: Broom finish is the standard (and lowest cost). Exposed aggregate and stamped concrete add 20–50% to the price.

Access and Site Conditions: Driveways with difficult access, steep grades, or poor soil conditions may require additional preparation cost.
